For some reason, I鈥檝e broken out around my mouth. I think it may be because I changed my face care product recently. I have an event this weekend for Christmas and I don鈥檛 want to show up with this zit on my chin. How do I get rid of it before Saturday?|||Sit back... this is a LONG answer, but I wanted to help you out! I know it can be frustrating.
Gather all materials beforehand -- see %26quot;Things You%26#039;ll Need%26quot; below. You might want to store them in a waterproof resealable bag, such as Ziploc. I%26#039;d recommend wearing either old clothes or a bathrobe over whatever you are wearing. There is a definite possibility this is going to spill. After you have found everything on you checklist, head to a large, flat, waterproof surface. This is probably your bathroom. Having this room be private is highly advised; you can%26#039;t just say, %26quot;Get out, I%26#039;m flattening a pimple,%26quot; can you?
Things You%26#039;ll Need
- 3 or more cotton balls
- Lukewarm tap water
- Cup to hold the water in
- Salt
The Method
1. Salt the water thoroughly -- much more than you think it needs.
2. Dip one cotton ball in the salt water.
3. Wait for 30 - 60 seconds.
4. Squeeze out excess water out until it is damp, but not dripping.
5. Place the damp cotton ball over your large, oh-my-goodness-I-cannot-go-to-... zit. If you have several of these grouped together, try to place the cotton ball over them all.
6. Glance at your watch/clock. Wait exactly three minutes.
7. Remove the cotton ball after the time is up. The zit seems to be nearly gone, but it is only the top that has dissolved. Your acne is still there.
8. Take the other two cotton balls and place them on either side of the despised pimple.
9. Slowly, move them closer together until the tiny bump is flattened. Congrats! You%26#039;ve just conquered that giant of a pimple -- forever!
10. Apply honey on the infected area %26amp; go to sleep!!
Tips
*Don%26#039;t forget the last 3 steps -- they are crucial.
*Be sure to follow these steps closely. Dipping a cottonball in fresh water as opposed to salt will not work, for instants.
* You might want to bring a book -- either waterproof or one that you do not care about being splattered in water. Those three minutes can get boring.
* This is your best bet for monster zits that simply sneak up on you. For long-term healthy skin, cleansing and toning is also important.
Warnings
* Please, PLEASE, do not assume this is permission to %26quot;pop%26quot; pimples. Doing so can cause major scarring. Please don%26#039;t pop them.
* If you stop after the top is dissolved, I must warn you: it WILL come back! Maybe not in the next five minutes, but during the course of an hour, it will come back!

You will never believe your eye!!
Hope it works!! GOOD LUCK!!|||I usually get those they suck. Either you just pop it or put toothpaste on it to open up the pore. Rubbing alcohol is an option, just keep your eyes closed the aroma makes your eyes burn. Then simply clean it off with soap and water.|||Ok , Go to a drugstore and by pimple cream (any Brand), with 10 percent Benzyol Peroxide ... ( usually its 2 or 3 percent) The higher percentage will zap that zit OVERNIGHT!! Good Luck %26amp; Happy Holidays!!!|||try clean and clear this solution in a white/ bluish bottle and the morning bursting scrubs. i love clean and clear but do not pop that zit because when u get older your face will scar and you will not be very happy because your face will not be flawless. i do not know much advice because lucky me, i hardly ever get zits and i have like a near flawless face. i love myself. good luck with getting rid of the zit though. do not be bummed if it does not go away which it probably will just give it some time, you definitely will not be the only person with a zit as long as you look nice in your outfit and hair looks nice everything will turn out better than you will expect. Just have the time of your life.|||try to put toothpaste on the single zit it will dry it up or make it where it can be poped it depends on your skin type|||I discovered this trick, which works pretty well for me:
Buy Burt%26#039;s Bees Pore Refining Green Clay Mask. (I really don%26#039;t know if you can substitute a different mask; if you can%26#039;t find Burt%26#039;s Bees, try something else with green clay in it.) Make a paste with it, as directed on the package. Dab it all over your pimple AND the surrounding area. Let it sit for 15 minutes. Wash it off. Keep your hands off it. Repeat this at least once a day (being careful not to get too much on the rest of your face-- this mask can be very drying if overused) until the pimple dries up.
I%26#039;ve also found that, sometimes, I break out because my skin is too dry. When this happens, my face over-reacts and pumps out tons of oil, which mixes with gawd-knows-what on my face and I break out like BAD. When I think this is happening (usually when I break out in an odd-for-me place, like my nose) I use a light oil (Burt%26#039;s makes a citrusy one; otherwise, Neutrogena body oil is good) mixed with sugar. I gently rub the mix on my face and wash it off. It hydrates my skin and exfoliates at the same time.
Everyone is different, but I hope you have good luck with this!
I wanted to mention, also, that many breakouts around the mouth are caused by hormonal changes. When I became pregnant recently, I started breaking out in the same spot-- just as I did when I%26#039;d get my cycle. If you don%26#039;t usually break out around your mouth, also keep an eye on what%26#039;s touching your face there-- your hands, your phone, your pillow-- and clean them accordingly.|||Hydrogen peroxide...soak a cotton ball with it, hold on the zit for 10 minutes. It may appear bleached at first, but that goes away. Immediately after the zit will nearly be gone!|||please listen to my advice im like the zit queen! ok this is what u do always works for me cuz i get a couple of zits on my chin or nose or forhead and thats it, so what i do is boil some hot water then leave it on the side cover with lid since u need steam take half a tomatoe and rub it real good over ur face then let ur face steam while the pulp is on ur face, after 10 minutes wash it off then clean any leftover residue with rosewater, then take some eyedrops (cleareyes) and add it to your zit it takes the red out, and put an ice cube in a cloth and put it on ur zit, and if u benzoyl peroxide 5% or 10%(oxy) works good, this stuff is very strong and works like magic! hope this helps. and remeber dont POP IT!!!|||I have no clue... i would love to know too.
I just keep cleaning my face and hope it works!|||Dont try and pop them! that will only make it worse, the bump will get bigger and reder (%26lt; I dont think thats a word, lol)
I dont know what its called but its from Clean and Clear, I think its something like spot-treatment, it works really good.
If you cant find it or dont have money for it this might work, it sounds a little weird but before you go to bed, put some tooth paste on your zit, its going to sting a little, in the morning wash it off and your zit will be ALMOST completly gone...
I hope I helped some|||I put tooth paste on mine and let it sit overnight. It clears it up.|||Use green tea or witch hazel.|||Put some triple-antibiotic ointment on it.
It won%26#039;t be red anymore.
Just don%26#039;t pop it!!!|||Boo Boo Zap by Benefit is amazing! You can use it any time and put it right on over your moisturizer or make-up. It works quickly to get rid of your pimples!|||hmm..well don%26#039;t pop it (i know, sometimes popping it DOES work, but more often it just turns red and is more obvious)
I%26#039;ve heard that applying a thing layer of solid deoderant to the zit before you go to sleep can reduce it, but I have personally never tried this.
If you use a skin care product with salcitic acid in it, then it will dry up the zit.
If you are using certain types of toothpaste, it can result in zits arounf your mouth and chin. I think you can change this by using flouride toothpaste
Hope this helps!|||Don%26#039;t pop it! use a cream that dries them out. put it on as often as possible. good luck =)
