My cat has a "pimple" bump on his back?

He%26#039;s an older cat, 6-7 years old, and is always indoors. He has this pimple feeling/looking thing on his back above his leg. He doesn%26#039;t scratch it, but I cant ignore it without knowing what it is.

Should I take him to the vet to check it out? ): I%26#039;m worried.|||i agree with kiki its usually no big deal but u should really get it checked out...........my dog is 15 and a german shepard rotti mix....i know she old but yeah she gets the same stuff at first we thought it was cancer or a tick so we opened it and got out the gump put it in a bag and brought it to the vets turns out we just popped one of her nasty HUGE blackheads and it is nothing to worry about l0l anyways the vet said it happens to animals who get people food and stuff like that.............even though its probably nothing i would really get it checked out...|||I would get this checked out if I were you. This usually happens to mammals as they start aging. My old dog had like two %26quot;pimples%26quot; on her face and the vet said it was no big deal. It might be different with cats though.
